Creative Date Ideas in San Antonio

Since Fun Fall Date Ideas in San Antonio was a big hit, lets do it again! Now I know you get all the touristy spots (Riverwalk, Japanese Tea Garden, and the Quarry) but this is the list just outside of the box. Let’s be a kid, again!

1. Smores– the simple concept of smores can be so much fun and easy to do. Restaurants like Huhots you can build your own smores. Or, fire the grill and heat some outside like a mini camp fire. If you want the full camping experience try
Calaveras Lake
12991 Bernhardt Road
San Antonio, TX 7826

2. Paint A Plate– have a crafty mate? This studio is great to talk and do something at the same time. I encourage a swap gift by painting something for each other. Make sure you call first to make sure there is not a birthday party. The Painted Plate 11703 Huebner Road, Suite 201 78230

3. Geocaching- this is a real life scavenger hunt. By using the website geocaching.com then using a GPS track down items that others hid and you have something to hide for others to seek. Great fun if you two need a break from dinner and a movie.

4. Arcade- There are plenty of arcade places in San Antonio but some noteworthy for a date I would recommend of course Dave & Busters where the bar is not far from the wakamole and Incredible Pizza Company where they have indoor Go karts,Bumper Cars and All-you-can-eat buffet.

Have any other great “back to your childhood” dates?
